About the Tournament

The JAMS/APPP/OPMP International Online Peer Mediation Tournament invites schools and organizations around the world to showcase the incredible skills of their student mediators in a friendly, three-round, basketball-style competition. Elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, youth organizations, and community mediation programs are all welcome — teams can participate from their own school or an approved location.

Key Dates

Round 1 Oct 30 – Nov 15, 2026

All participating schools compete. One-fourth of teams are eliminated.

Round 2 Nov 16, 2026 – Jan 15, 2027

Remaining schools compete. Another one-fourth of teams are eliminated.

Final Round Jan 16 – Feb 28, 2027

Top teams in each division compete for the championship. Winners announced in March!

Team Information

  • Each team consists of 2 student mediators and 2 student disputants
  • No limit to the number of teams your school can enter
  • Registration fee: $40 per team
  • Fee includes judging, feedback, and awards eligibility
